Things I will try to do before I die ...

I know it will be funny and hilarious to read, as of now, as most of the dream appear to be far away from reality,but belive me "I have plans" and I am working hard ... :)

( I am adding them as I recall, no order of events)

1. Live in Antartica

Antartica had facinated me from child hood. I don't know why but I want to live there for a year or more and watch the beautiful Aurora and snowfall.

I recall an incident, when I was in school, I once told my dream to Shauz about going and living in Antartica. his face was filled with interest and he asked me "What are you waiting for?", to which I replied "Money" and he cracked into laughter and said "itni choti si baat, tu pehle bolta ... tujhse peecha chudane ke liye hum saab log paise ikhata kar tujhe de dete .." (Translation: Such a small thing ... if you would have told us, we would have collected money for your trip to get rid of you !"

2. Built my own designed "Smart Home"

I wanted to be an architect but during the journey of my career I fell in love with Compters and today I am happily married to my choice.

But I had a rough sketch of the house I wanted to build. It will be completely automated with my "Artificial Intelligence" Program running my home. :)

3. Have a collection of Watches

I love watches. Ironically, currently I own only one :). One day I want to have collected all my favorite watches from Globe.

4. Visit Pyramids in Egypt

Another child hood dream. Like any other kid, I wanted to see Pyramids.

5. Live in Rainforest

Live in rainforest all by myself, cut off from world from few months.

6. Write a book

Theme of book is not yet decided but there are lots of stuff on which I can write a book. I recall, just a year back around August 2008, I proposed an idea to Shauz, of writing a book on "Why we hated Mahatma". He will write the hate pages and I will elaborate what is misunderstood by todays generation on Mahatma Gandhi's wordings and thoughts.

Another one was writing a technical book.

7. Live in Alaska for few months

8. Live in Ireland for few months

9. Taste all the cuisines of world.

10. Trekking to Mount Everest.

Sounds crazy, but I do want to climb the highest peak in world. I know time is running out ...

11. Music concert / Album with Shauz

I remember, Shauz and myself had decided that we will release atleast one album of our music composition under our band name "Shauriz".

Now he is not around. He was the only person who could proof that I created all those compositions

and now I don't want to remember them anymore. I think some dreams will remain dreams now.

12. Get a Timon Pumba T Shirt.

13. Go to Leh and Ladhak on bikes.

Shauz and me were planning a trip to Leh and Ladhak from more than 2 years. He won't be there.

That could be one reason, I now do not want to go there. But still it will be a dream to be in Ladhak.

14. Learn to fly a plane

I want to learn to fly plane and see the world from sky. I will go further to exaggerate my dream

and wish If i get a chance, I will like to go into outer space, probably moon.

15. Own a Yatch

16. As a director, produce a play or movie (can be a cartoon) and release world wide.

17. Live / Settle in Europe, Swiss and Singapore

I had been to Europe and I had fell in love with it. After Singapore, I found Europe the most beautiful place on earth.

I had been to top of Eiffel towers around 6 times and I still want to be there again. So that will be another dream of mine.

18. Own a RV Vehicle.

19. Visit Seattle, USA.

20. See a volcano.

21. Get doctorate degree from most reputed university in world.

22. CEO / owner of a firm.

23. Retire at age of 50 years.

24. Go on long vacation on Cruise ship.

25. Open a School.

Last and most important, before I die, I want to have a photograph with all my dearest friends, I had met in my life, before I close my eyes...

3. Last Call

I think it was on 27 Jan or 28 Jan, regarding arranging his interview and finalizing our long pending Leh trip.

I had returned from Shimla and found a travel agent who suggested me to take another route to Leh.

4. Last SMS

I reached Delhi Railway station from Shimla on night of 26 January. I called Shaurya, if he knew about the timings of last EMU from Delhi to Ghaziabad. He asked me to check with his father and send uncle's number by SMS. I think that was the last SMS I got from him. I still have that SMS

5. Last Movie watched together (with group)

Last movie that we watched together was Roadside Romeo (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1050739/).

I still recall Bunny had returned from UK for Diwali and Bubby (Shauz) called up if we can go around somewhere.

We went to Adlabs in GIP Mall, Noida. 

We could not get tickets to any movie except "Roadside Romeo", that too in Lounge (that costed 500 INR per head).

But that lounge experience was awesome for Shauz. I still recall Shauz used to tell me often how much he enjoyed sitting and watching movie in lounge and talked about watching some movie again in lounge together.

6. Last place we visited together

"Khas - Valley of flowers in Maharastra". I went to Pune for some work and was staying with Shauz. Shauz planned a trip for me to Khas. It was 28 September 2008.

7. Last Movie watched together

It was in when I was in Pune. I recall he will come early from office and we will quickly book tickets online and rush to movie hall.

8. Last photograph taken together

We, Cami, Shauz and myself were celebrating his engagement @ GIP and took the pics and labelled "Last bachelor Standing" on 11 Jan 2009 (19:03).

8. Last treat out together

I was in office and Shauz called me to tell that his "Roka" happened today and we need to celebrate.

So I packed from office early and we decided to meet at Pizza hut in Ghaziabad. I called my mom and informed her not to cook dinner for me.

We had a four course meal. We had soup, ate our favorite pasta, Lemon Ice Tea, Pizza and Garlic bread.

We were the last one to pack from Pizza hut (11:15 pm).

9. Last Joke shared

I emailed him a joke on 27 Jan 2009. He laughed a lot on that Joke.

10. Last Music shared and listened

It was Colbie Caillat's song "Bubbly". Previously, I had shared song "Unwritten" from Natasha Bedingfield and he enjoyed listening to this song.

10. Last Music we played

I had composed a song "loneliness". We played that song together when he was in Ghaziabad, around June/July 2008.

10. Last time we had "Juice Race"

From our school days, Shauz and me use to have "Pineapple Juice Race". We use to go to this Juice shop in corner in Rajanagar and order two big glasses of Pineapple Juice. Last one to finish was looser.

We had last race, when I was in pune. I won the race.

13. Last promise I made to him and did not filled

When he was in Ghaziabad for his Roka, we went to Noida for celebrating. While driving back home, I asked Shauz to get me list of 10 things he will like to do before he gets married. I recall, he told me, "tu toh aise bol raha hai as if i am dying ... meri bucket list" ...

I laughed on his comments and said ... "shaadi aur death mei kya farakh hai ..." Jaldi se aapni list bana and tell me.

He promised to sent me his bucket list, of things to do before he gets married in April.

He took promise from me to come to his marriage in April.

13. Last time  I wanted to kick him

We were roaming in GIP Mall. I went inside a movie shop. I wanted to buy WALLE. Shauz told me not to buy Walle as it was an average movie. So I went ahead and bought DVD's of "Coyote Ugly" and 'Pirates of Carribean."

When I walked out of the shop he was carrying a carry back with a DVD of WALLE for himself. He told he liked that movie and wanted to add to his collection ... and thought I might not liked the movie .. hence suggested me not to buy the movie !!

13. Last cusine we had together

I was in Pune. We were returning from Khas and were very tired. Our day was so much fun filled that we wanted to end it the same way. So we decided to have some great food that night. Shauz suggested me "Yana's Sizzlers, first" but then he told me that he always wanted to have Greek food but never got any company to eat with.

So we went to a Greek restaurant in Pune, on Top floor and had an awesome Greek food with Red Wine.

It costed us around 5000 INR only.

14. Last accident we met

We, Myself, Pinkesh and Shauz were returning from watching movie "Kidnap". On our way back home, we were teasing Shauz that one day we will kidnap his daugther and demad randsom, on the same plot of the movie.

Shauz was so much pissed off from our teasing, that he did'nt even realized that he was driving his car at speed of 80km/hr on a punctured tyre. We missed a major accident that day, when i complained about wobbling of car. When we all got down from the car, there was smoke coming out from back left tyre and Rim was hot like hell.

I recall, Shauz did not proper tools in his car to change the tyres. We stopped dozens of car on Pune-Mumbai highway to get tools to change the car. But since, most the car at 1 am in night were taxi (mostly indica / sumo), none of their tools worked for our Santro. Then we pushed the car toward home, which was around 3-4 km away.

Luckily, Nikhil (Shauz's another room mate) found us and got some additional help.

14. Last TV serial we watched and talked about

ELR (Everybody loves Raymond) happens to be our favorite show. Infact, Shauz downloaded the entire seasons of th TV serial for me. We use to watch and laugh a lot.

Shauz and me liked the episode in which Robert gets a wood puppet.

Here are some dialogues from the serial we liked a lot:

Scene: Robert first day as a teacher at school of driving.Student have given feedback about Robert. Robert returns home and whole family is sitting. He tells them about the feedback, his students have given to him ...

15. Last Movie we wanted to see again

16. Last time we loved repeating dialogue from a movie

Pink Panther 1, When we were shopping for movies.

Kung fu Panda

Few months back I watched the animated movie "Kung fu Panda". By the way, I am a big time Panda lover. After I watched the movie I had a call with Shauz. It was a protocol between us to discuss movies so that other can watch it too.

Within first 5 minutes of the movie, I was able to make out the entire plot. 

Same old plot and same expected ending, but then when i finished watching the movie, there was a smile on my face. i felt happy that I watched the movie. 

Within few minutes I was wondering why I liked the movie when i already knew the plot? There was nothing new or thrilling (like Nicole kidman's "The others", "Dead Silence", "Greatest Game Played ever" ...)

I think this how great movies are suppose to be directed. You know the end but still you are glued to the movie because you become a part of it.

Then, the light of wisdom struck me and I went into next level of spirtualisim. 

May be this is what life is about ! You know what is in the end but what makes life interesting is how your life makes you glue to yourself.

As per Bhagwat Gita - one of the Religious book of Hindus, The biggest Truth of life is "death" and strangely no one wants to accept this fact. 

Moment you acknowledge this fact, you find yourself free from all materialistic desires.

Just like the movie "Kungfu Panda", I know where I will end up, I do not know when and how but what I do know is I won't be regretting when its "The Day" !

The movie of my life is regret free (until few days back) and worth glueing. When I go, people around me will walk away with a smile on their faces. I may not have achieved everything in my life but I was satisfied with what all I had and what all I gave back !

Only thing i want people to know that I "was" here !

After listening to my spirutual crap, Shauz said, what he always use to say, "Sabaash" (English - Good thinking) and he promised to watch this movie.

Today, I wonder if I still think the same? 

Yes ! No matter what happens in my life, loosing friends or brothers, the fact of life is still unchanged. We know the end ... it is upto us how to make the movie of life worth loving.

I remember, in my school days, our principal would always tell us in morning assembly when our sports day will start, "participation is more important than wining !". I extend same to life !

We don't know how, where and when life ends, but be ready .. live your dreams, tell people you love them, visit places you always wanted to go :)

Another day passes by ...

Only thing I wanted today was to talk to a good friend for hours ... but then i realized ... shauz is not around !

So i sat browsing and surfing internet for hours ... watching my favorite cartoons to kill time, but found them boring and more sadening ... did not felt like playing with even kids today ... i was so sad that if you were around me you could have felt it badly !

Wish you were here Shauz .. there is so much I wanted to talk to you about ... So much happening around me and you are missing :(

I think, I will resolve back to forget and move on .. occupy myself in some stuff ... blogging looks good but then I cannot write everything I feel in this blog ... 

but i will blog from now on, to keep memories of Mr Indestructible alive .. .assuming he is still in pune and reading my blogs .. assuming we had a fight and we are not talking ...

So what i did today, worked in morning. Evening just trying to run away from self and now just killing time.

hmmm .. this blog is getting sader and sader and before I spread my sadness on to everyone, i should pack up now.

ahhhh !

What an irony ...

just noticed ... i wrote my first blog exactly one year back !
never imagined my blog after a year will be so sad ...


Tuesdays are still busy days for me ... :( even after a year !!

Shauriz ... We were here !

Noting hurts more ... nothing pains more ... I still miss you a lot and while i write this "shauz" my heart and eyes are filled with tears because you are not here to read this :(

Sometime back someone told me you will always be here ... sometime back someone told me they will be there after you are gone ... but now i realize ... you were you !! I am again there waiting for you to come online or call me ....

But above all, i am proud and happy that we once walked together and "We were here !"
Those are most beautiful moments of my life and i will cherish them till my last breath.

Most people must have forgotten you ... but some are still who will remember you everyday ... I am one of those few because the void you left is too huge to be filled.

I wrote a list of things we use to do, wish i could show you and if you were here, reading my "our list", you would have laughed and rolled over on the floor !

Honestly, "friendship" is only a word for many people .. but you showed its meaning. I can't recall a single instance where you were not there for me ... i single instance i felt ashamed telling you anything. You were always there and I hope you will always be there !

Over the months, I will be writing lot about you because you are important part of what I am today !! I won't forget you ; like everyone else has forgotten you ... and i know you had spolied me so much that even If i want to, i will never forget you !

When i touch the guitar, When i see cartoon (Timon & Pumba, specially), youtube, gtalk, girls, listening to rock, hearing word Pune, hearing word school, F1 race, clicking photos, visting new places, the words "we rugged the roads of ghaz ..." ... every single thing will remind me of you ... remind a lot of you !!

Just waiting to catch up with you and freeze the Hell !!
